What is WorshipScapes?

WorshipScapes is a set of outdoor scenery video collections designed for church use.

How does WorshipScapes glorify your Creator?

WorshipScapes declares the glory of God’s creation. Who can look up on a starry night at God’s infinite universe and not wonder: “Where did all of this come from?” Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.”

Quick start installation steps:

Step 1: Choose the DVD-ROM or CD-ROM version.

This is easy. If you have a DVD player in your computer, use the DVD-ROM. If not, use the CD-ROM. The DVD-ROM includes everything on the CD-ROM.

Step 2: Decide whether to use MPEG1 or MPEG2.

These formats have different benefits.

MPEG1 clips have:

Smaller file size, saving you hard disk space.
Smoother playback on older computers.
Softer focus.

MPEG2 clips have:

Larger file size.
Sharper focus, which looks very nice over a soft background.

You might try both formats with your projector and see which you like better. You may find that the video looks very different from a distance in your auditorium than it does close-up on your computer’s monitor.

Step 3: Choose the clips and copy to your hard drive.

You probably will not want to copy all of the clips to your hard drive. First, start with just the loops and edited sets.

Loops

Loops are designed to repeat seamlessly for an entire song. Worship leaders can easily continue any song while one loop repeats. These are the most popular WorshipScapes and work well for everyone.

Edited Sets

Edited sets may have 10 or more clips, dissolve between each clip, and then loop back to the beginning. They are approximately 5 minutes long. You do not have to be an editor to use edited sets.

Full Set

This one clip includes all of the single clips in the collection with dissolves between each clip. An editor might want to set different in- and out-points for this clip. Use your creativity!

Single Clips

These clips are designed for editors to use to create a custom set. You will need special video editing software to do this.

LS is the abbreviation for the collection name, LivingScenery.
loop is the type of clip.
016 is the clip number.
WorshipScapes is the product name.
m2 is the compression format MPEG2.
v1 is the version.
.mpg is the extension for the computer’s operating system.
